There was some copy, but the focus was definitely on the photography. That being said, the photos were beyond amazing. I looked at them and literally laughed out loud at the idea that anyone in the last 30+ years could be considered “cool.” 1960s Jazz musicians were cool, everybody since is just playing.
Just finished Take Ivy and Black Ivy, reading Ametora right now, but wasn’t familiar with Miles, Chet, Ralph & Charlie. Thanks for the tip!

How did you find Black Ivy? Is it mostly photographs or there is content to read as well?
